Jamila Summer 2018 BAQ Henna

Jamila Summer 2018 BAQ Henna

from 10.00

Absolute Silk! If you prefer a creamy texture, Jamila is your jam.

Jamila henna is grown in Pakistan, and is known for the silky smooth sift and creamy texture, which makes it easy to work with. While it's not certified Organic, Jamila has been working hard on their farming practices, and the last few years have had no detectable pesticide residue, yay!!

How to use Jamila henna:

Mix 100 gram pouch of Jamila with 2-3 Tablespoons of sugar, and add approximately 8 ounces of purified water (slowly, to avoid making it too runny) and 30ml of essential oil such as Tea Tree of Bulgarian Lavender. Let the mixture sit for 1-2 hours and do a spot test, as Jamila sometimes takes longer to be ready than other hennas. If you are using lemon instead of water, mixture may take 24 hours or more to be ready to use.

Pro tip: Mix 50% Jamila and 50% Rajasthani henna for the perfect blend of creamy and stringy.

Note: We only carry authentic BAQ Jamila (don't be fooled by imposters on Amazon or eBay who carry counterfeit Jamila, yes this is actually a problem), which has an iridescent box, harvest date and expiration date on the bottom, and internal foil package with the Jamila name all over the packaging. If you see a price that looks too good to be true, it probably is.
